For bellwork today, we did the ABC Brainstorm to review our knowledge of IndoEuropean religions.
Then we read through a primary source about Siddhartha Gautama. We updated our vault by drawing a picture of him & describing him. Then we had a Writing History assignment to explain the life of the Buddha & his beliefs.
Next, we looked at a map of the spread of Buddhism & answered questions with our table partner.
Then we discussed the eightfold path of Buddhism & did a fun class activity.
Homework: complete Early Civilizations worksheet.
