What questions would a behavioral psychologist ask?
Today we briefly reviewed last week's exit work assignments & notes. Then we practiced the Freudian-method of free association.
We read from our books about the behavioralist, Ivan Pavlov, and his well-known experiment. Then we put it to the test. Each time a bell sounded, you had to lick lemonade powder off of your finger. We repeated this several times. Then the last time the bell rang you were stopped before you could lick -- almost everyone had the same reaction. They could predict the sour/sweet taste (and salivate) before it touched their tastebuds.
In class assignment: pg. 22 #1-4
HW: Journal writing assignment taken from #5 on pg. 22
Also, don't forget to bring in a cartoon/comic clipping that seeks to explain behavior!!
